Dear Overriders, greetings!
Thank you all for your passionate support and valuable feedback! After a period of intensive development, "OverRider" V 0.8.0 is now officially live!
This update introduces a brand-new playable character, the new Hunting Rank system, major improvements to 「Override-Core」 build rules, and many other optimizations.
Let’s dive into the details!
New: Hunting Rank & Scoring System
After completing each hunt, your performance will be evaluated and converted into experience points.
Accumulated scores will raise your Hunting Rank.
Higher Hunting Rank will unlock new BD (Build Styles) and new features.
New Playable Character
The highly anticipated Ritsuko Nitta has officially joined the battlefield as a fully playable character!
「Override-Core」 Rework
Massive Effect Overhaul
Nearly all existing Core effects have been redesigned or adjusted.
Some outdated Cores have been converted into Chips.
Tons of New Cores
Approximately 20 new Core effects have been added.
System & Experience Optimizations
Combat Improvements
All characters now have access to a full normal attack combo from the very start.
Storyline Adjustments
The game’s narrative has been reorganized and refined for a smoother storytelling experience.
Resolution Settings
Resolution options have been added to the settings menu (currently supports only 16:9).
Controller Vibration
Added full controller vibration support.
Difficulty Balancing
Reduced the damage of certain late-game enemies to improve overall difficulty pacing.
Bosses will drop first-aid Kits.
In-Run Shop Logic Optimization
If your 「Combat Extension」 slots are not full, the shop will prioritize offering plugins for new empty slots.
UI & Art Updates
Improved several talent icons and polished certain character illustrations.
Bug Fixes
We remain committed to improving overall stability. This update includes the following fixes:
Fixed an issue where the cooldown display of ultimate skills did not match the actual cooldown time.
Fixed a rare bug where the player could be forced out of the arena during the “Yokozuna” boss fight.
Fixed crashes that could occur due to differences in player time zones.
Fixed an issue where certain scenes failed to transition to the next area.
Fixed incorrect display of material counts for Neural Network (Talent) under specific conditions.
Fixed abnormal behavior in Roxanne’s grab animation.
