changedAfter Steam Next Fest, we took everything you told us. Every piece of feedback from the demo, every comment, every discussion thread and went back to work. Updates to the demo, improvements to balance and performance, refinements to the campaign experience. It wasn't the kind of work that makes for exciting weekly posts. It was the kind of work that makes for a better game.
changedRemastering a Classic is our behind-the-scenes documentary series on YouTube and if you haven't seen it, this is the best place to start. Each episode takes you inside the development: recovering the original files from 2000, rebuilding the engine, recreating the menus, getting the sound right, and all the decisions that go into making a remaster that respects the original without being held back by it. Make sure to turn on English captions!

You now know Outlive 25 is being released on April 30. War is upon us, and it is coming fast.

However, we understand that before that announcement we have been quiet. We understand that silence is not great when you're waiting for a game.

It was the kind of work that makes for a better game.

But we weren't completely offline. While the Community Hub stayed quiet, we were documenting the whole process.

We have also been posting DevLog videos about the remaster process. Please check them out if you did not have the chance of doing it before:

We'll have more to share very soon!
