Hey Survivors!

We've been so happy to see folks enjoying our latest survival horror nightmare, Chromatic Split! It's become one of our most successful titles cross platform to date, and we massively appreciate all the feedback, support, and comments received by the community! We <3 you all! :)

As we announced prior to the release of Chromatic Split, we'd also be releasing a post launch content update with plenty of new content and updates driven by community feedback!

You can look forward to the following in the content update:

  • Adding support for DLSS 4 and FSR 4, including all of the bells and whistles announced for Nvidia 50-series cards!

  • Major engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.5, including benefitting from new graphics technologies and lighting, as well as major performance improvements.

  • Hank's scenario as he takes on the opening of the Outbreak through a daring mission across the rooftops of Cypress Ridge.

  • Bonus minigame modes including Boss Rush and Collapse Mode which are high intensity, high difficulty challenge modes based on some iconic moments of the survival horror genre.

  • Massive amount of QoL improvements across the entire game, much driven by community feedback, including major improvements to game controls, the camera system, the stun system, enemy animations, enemy hit feedback, polish across all the UI and interior systems, rebalancing, difficulty adjustment, weapon and item adjustments, and so much more!!!

  • Major improvements to friendly AI and how they function.

  • Major performance improvements across the entire title.

All of this is thanks to our transition to Unreal Engine 5 over the last few years, and having a unified codebase for our games going forward as we work towards the release of our 4-player online co-op survival horror release of Outbreak: Shades of Horror later this year. We're able to improve our products with fixes and features, and support all releases shared via this unified engine design, which is only possible thanks to Unreal Engine.

Stay tuned for a deep dive into all of this in the months ahead! Good luck surviving out there!
