Hello Travellers
We wanted to say thank you. It has been an incredible, busy day since the launch, and we appreciate all of you playing, enjoying and breaking Outbound. It is an indescribable feeling watching players finally try something we have worked on for a long time and the amount of love you have sent to us means so much to our small team. Genuinely, thank you.
Community & Feedback
We’ve seen more than 40,000 of you diving into the game on the first day! The average player already spent more than 2:45 hours in Outbound yesterday ^^ We’re reading everything & we know it’s not all smooth driving for some of you. Please, rest assured that we are working hard to resolve the issues you have highlighted to us! We’re looking into every single report, and you can expect updates to roll out as soon as the fixes are ready.
What We Already Implemented
Improved multiplayer stability
Fixed the issue where the hosting player would disappear/become invisible
Added a biome indicator to the map!
Fixed an issue where Smelter being built inside the vehicle prevented it from driving properly
What We’re Working On Immediately
General stability of multiplayer.
Option to select multiplayer region to improve connection time and ping and to reduce errors.
Multiplayer bug fixes, e.g. players not properly leaving the vehicle.
Distribution of resources and resource balancing.
UI and UX fixes.
In the next upcoming days, we will be working hard on preparing future updates for the game and will let you know as soon as we have them nailed down. Thank you for being so patient with us while we work through the rough spots <3
