Here, I've been working full time on Out of Bounds! And since almost two entire month have passed since the start of this 2022, I wanted to tell you about some of the progress ๐Ÿค“

First of all, have you seen the new logo? What are your thoughts? It was designed by Claudio "Scuzzo" Sagrera, the same talented artist who did our logos for Saibot and Hellbound .

Alright, let's begin... I'm going to put some images and animated GIFs together with information and also links to posts I did on my Twitter account, in case you want to know more about it ๐Ÿ‘

Menus, configurations and guides ๐Ÿ“บ

Let's start with the "boring part", a very important though. I've been implementing and creating all the options screens and game configurations.

I first did a base structure with a "programming" visual style:

Built the entire options system with load and save features (by far, it was the toughest part to do):

Added the credits as if it was a Command Prompt from Windows.

Created a short introduction with the logos, put some music and sound effects.

Integrated a simple guide/tutorial monitor with instructions to start playing, which doesn't stop the player inputs (you can avoid it entirely).

And added full controller support (Gamepad), and it can be customized from the options menu: sensibility, buttons, vibration and more ๐ŸŽฎ

New enemy "Plany" ๐Ÿ›ฉ๏ธ

Same as the main character, the visual design of the "Plany" was made by the great artist and friend of mine Viktor Ahmed ๐Ÿ‘Œ

There was a very important feature missing in the Audio area when you complete the depot and press the Play button โ–ถ๏ธ

See and (most importantly) listen to what happens now:

Bouth music and sound effects, but also the game time (speed), change drastically with this new feature (affecting the player movement and gameplay).

And to finish, I've also dedicated some time to the general visual aspects of the game. I added:
