addedWe want to thank everyone that has purchased the Early Access version of Oscar Mike VR so far. For Loop Games has had a very busy post-launch month. Our team has been running around prioritizing art assets and bug fixes to make sure that we are hitting known issues and working on new content in the best possible order. For our first update, we are introducing the ability to hold guns left handed. We neglected left handed players on launch and in hindsight we should have shipped with left hand support. Movement and menus are also swapped to the other controller to make the move and shoot experience work well for left handed players. We are also opening up the competitive ruleset. Friendly fire is enabled and matches will wait until 10 humans are present before beginning the match. Players will be in a warm up phase until the match begins. You can test out weapons, chat and change teams while warming up. Once 10 players join, the match will start. If a player drops, they will be replaced temporarily with a bot. On the art side, we have changed the character models out and started using IK to position arms instead of having floating hands. Our level designers hope to have a new map out for the next update, they are hard at work building it out. A preview of the level may be posted to the beta branch before it hits the official release. http://www.oscarmikevr.com/rumble.png Our coders hope to have AI difficulty settings in the next update as well as some planning improvements to make them less predictable. Our team is going to be posting in-progress work to the beta branch so players can experience the latest content and code without having to wait for official releases. The beta branch may have more bugs than the official release, but if you want to be on the cutting edge, please check it out. You can opt in to the beta using the "BETAS" tab in properties of Oscar Mike VR in your steam library. For more information, check out the product betas section of this link http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=182912431 We're also working on a web forum on OscarMikeVR.com that should be up with Update 2.
