Character customisation
We didn’t fully go into the character customiser in the last announcement but here it is in it’s full glory! You will be able to place the customiser as a building, and within it be able to change the type and colour of your hair, beard, moustache, eyes, eyebrows and skin!
This is something we plan to expand on a lot to maximise your personalised dwarf!
Featuring for now:
7 Beard types
4 moustache types
2 eyebrow variations
9 hair variations
3 tattoo types
All fully customisable in different combinations with a large pallet of colours which can also be used for player skin and eye colour.
More improved UI
We are undertaking the long but very worthwhile task of redesigning and improving the UI across the game! Our newest improvements are a major change to all machine UI, some nicer graphics for the onboarding in the Kings Questboard and a small refresh to the research station UI.
Guaranteed an ancient chest to spawn next to the tombs of the three brothers!
Additional Bug fixes and balance changes
Setup the Belt Merger and Splitter to have max slope from 10 Degrees to 30 Degrees
Polished the steam and water grid UIs
Fixed the belt stands not accepting T2 belts
Fixed banners being saved as pink if no colour selected
Fixed connector lines needing to be too exact in free place mode
Added cookbook key instruction
Fixed recipes only displaying machine recipe locations
Added Ancient gears to protected Items
Fixed corruption of building on save and reload removing previously created buildings for new saves.
Setup for new steam achievements
Drunk affect fixed for low graphics settings
Drinking at the bar in the citadel doesn't immediately get you drunk (you have to actually have a few now)
Fixed holding beer mug when drinking in the citadel
Interact text won't appear for blacksmiths in citadel

Fixed pressing cancel on customiser screen not undoing changes
Added default colour orange for customiser
Added last pressed colour in customiser for hairs
Fixed splitter placement for steam quest not registering
Fixed helmet floating when wearing mining helmet in customiser
Added craft amount to Tool station
Added Weapon and ammo damage to Tool station
Resized required building icons in King's quest UI
Fixed Deepseeker doors not being open for clients if they've joined after its placement

Added a quest to unlock tier 3 automation in kings questboard

Rebalanced costs for Automation tiers
Fixed bug where the pressure control module would create a steam mixing chamber
Fixed tattoo icon having wrong image on hover
Character customiser will move in grid pattern when placing in forge frame on place building pieces (foundations etc)
Fixed bug in hard gameplay mode where all items dropped from hotbar were duplicating
Fixed lockup when going into character customiser with no UI visible, UI will be made visible when entering character customiser
Added new meshes and icons for steel items and some copper & iron
And many more smaller bug and tweak fixes
