Operius DX changes
This update is a chunky one! We've addressed a lot of player feedback and added some quality of life improvements that should make things feel more fun overall.
Added a new accessibility setting that lets you desaturate colors.
Increased ring hitbox size to make it easier to collect them.
Increased clone firing speed at base level.
Made cubes move slower when leaving the screen.
Changed the way rings spawn to prevent them from appearing directly behind or in front of walls.
Reduced intensity of the tunnel twist effect at its maximum.
Tweaked the profanity filter word list for high score name entry.
Made it so that the "Lucky Day" achievement can only be unlocked after a run.
Fixed a minor rendering bug with satellites.
Fixed a few minor rendering issues in the pause menu.
We've also wanted to six new achievements for each unlockable game mode, but it turns out that newly released Steam games have a limit of 100 achievements total. The game already had 96, so with the 6 new ones, we'd hit 102 achievements, just over the cap.
We went ahead and added those achievements to the itch.io version already. If Steam ever decides to lift or expand that limit (their documentation does not make it clear when or if they will), we will release an update that adds those achievements to here as well. The Nintendo Switch version, meanwhile, will get the v1.0.4 update with the new achievements in a few weeks, since we're still waiting for v1.0.3 to clear approval.
