Welcome back operators. We have been hard at work working on the next Major update which will be a massive overhaul to many systems and overall quality. In the mean time we have been working and fixing everything since the massive V09 update as well many crucial improvements that will be in today’s update including some brand new content. As always we're grateful for the continued support since our last update. It means a great deal to the team and drives us to keep raising the bar with every release.
What's new in V09.5?
Night Vision and Per Tube Auto-gain and Auto-gating
We have made several improvements to NVGs including better shading, auto-gain and better grain/image noise.
Auto-gain/Auto-gating
All NVGs will now have physically based, per-tube adjustments to bright lights. Per tube meaning each side of the screen will individually adjust just like they do in real life. It makes the night vision experience more immersive and easier on the eyes.
WATCH IN 4K
Better Shading and Image Noise/Grain
We have improved the shading of the nvgs using real life references and hands on experience. Additionally we have improved the image grain and made it work with all upscalers for a more consistent experience. We have also fixed numerous particles and vfx systems to work with NVGs!
Still not done!
While we have made these improvements for this update, we're going to continue to improve the realism of the NVGs for the major update, with plans to improve the IR spectrum like IR lasers and flash lights, better lens flares and bloom.
NEW CONTENT
We have added over 100 new weapon mods that didn’t make it into v09. Including new pistol mods, M4 mods (complete KS1 build), MK46/M249 mods, SPR300 mods, brand new cutting edge suppressors, new modular optics and more!
Additionally, we have implemented the new and reworked F2000 and Glock 45 models. Visually enhancing them and adding new customisation. The F2000 now has its internals modelled so you can finally chamber check the "toilet bowl".
There is also a brand new weapon, the M79 DEVGRU "pirate gun" Single-shot Grenade launcher. It is a sawn-off version of the M79 "Thumper" coming in AOR-1 and Wood variants.
You can now modify your grenade launcher! You can change your ammunition type on both the M320 and M79 however you can only change the body parts on the M79.

NEW PVP MAP - OFFICE
Office is a high action map in a high rise building with plenty of concealment and destruction available for both Free for all and Gunfight. We also improved the spawn protection system so its less likely you'll get an unfair spawn.

AUDIO CHANGES
We have made several improvements to audio. Gunshot audio now has better blending for distant gunshots as well as adding a "distant" suppressed variant of suppressor sounds. We have also implemented our enhanced and optimised gunshot audio system which was originally made for the AI. The players weapon now sound better, more performant and bug free.
We also updated several weapons to be more accurate to their real life counter part. The HK416, MCX, MK46 MOD 2, SR-25, AKM, Glock and the M4A1 now have more realistic foley and gunshot audio. The MCX, M4A1 and SR-25 also have different gunshot audio based on the barrel length.
Another new addition is trigger pull and release sfx. With every mouse click you will hear a pull of the trigger and with every release of the mouse click, you will hear the release of the trigger.
We have also fixed and improved the target impact sfx in the outdoor range as well as fixing the transition between indoors, outdoors and occluded audio sources.
GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES
[AI]
We have fixed AI suppressing while not having line of sight of the last known location of the player. This fixes the issue of them shooting through walls.
AI has also undergone a optimisation pass, in our testing it increased the FPS in a heavy AI scenario by 20 fps. This was for 20-30 AI engaging the player at once.
We have also fixed the behaviour of the AI in wave survival.
[BULLETS]
We have done several optimisations passes to everything bullet related. Including what happens when the bullet hits a surface. We have dramatically improved the average fps in high action situations. This paired with the AI optimisations should provide a smoother experience if you were mainly CPU bottlenecked.
Bullets can now also damage enemy vehicles like the BTR on ukraine.
[SERVERS]
We have done several fixes to server listings and server hosting. You will now see more servers as well as the ping to the server before you join. We have implemented several fail safes that should make joining servers more reliable. We have also added a more detailed reason behind not connecting to servers. If you still have issues, making a bug report with the disconnect reason message would be helpful.
[GRENADE THROWING]
We have improved consistency with grenade throwing as well as smoothed out the experience in multiplayer. Now if your host or the client, the grenade throwing experience will be the same.
We have also fixed crashes from exploding grenades.
[BUCKSHOT/SHOTGUN DAMAGE]
We have fixed and improved Buckshot and Flechette rounds. They will now penetrate limbs reliably and have had a damage buff per BB.
[GRENADE LAUNCHER AND ROCKET LAUNCHER DAMAGE]
We have reworked how GL rounds and M72 LAW simulates damage. It is now much more consistent and deals damage across the whole body. It also has a wider kill and damage radius. The 40x46mm HEDP having a 15 meter damage radius and a 5 meter kill radius and the M72 rocket having a 20 meter damage radius and also a 5 meter kill radius. We have also disabled the 40x46mm in PVP.
GL and Rockets explosions now also concuss the AI and Players
[OPERATION SIMULATIONS]
In HVT operation simulations, you can now change the amount of HVTs and whether or not they have random spawns like the normal AI. This makes some maps like Logar Province more intense as you have to search the whole map instead of the one building every time.
We have also added Kabul Streets to wave survival
[MISC]
Fixed Hellfire missiles not exploding once impacting the ground.
Fixed Game mode not being set to simulation if you selected the operation from active operations then "switch to simulation".
Fixed Cloud saves
Fixed Camera view distance being set to 1,000 instead of 10,000
Added an icon for removing weapon mods.
Fixed not being able to adjust brightness on canted red dots
Fixed Interaction UI being visible when sitting down
Improved Kabul Streets terrain textures
Your Legs can now start to bleed if you are sprinting and have no Leg HP or they're fractured
Sprinting on Legs that are both 0 HP and fractured now deal more damage and stack. Having Fractured legs deals more damage than 0 hp legs
Running on legs that are 0 hp or are fractured will now have a small chance to start a bleed
Fixed issues related to predator vision achievement
Fixed helicopter sound popping in and out when landing
Fixed guns malfunctioning after picking up another persons gun
Fixed guns dropping bugs
You can now pickup holstered guns from dead players
Memory Optimisation and Several Technical fixes.

[MAJOR UPDATE V10 TEASERS]
Major Update V10 will be a major overhaul and visual upgrade for OPERATOR.
V10 will introduce a brand new character model with brand new first person animations fully reworked from the ground up. This will improve the immersion and overall quality of the operator experience and we are fully excited to deliver. With the new character will be a whole new collection of drip to drown in. New gloves, shirts, pants, vests, facial hair, head hair, belts, shoes, tattoos, wrist wear, everything you could ever ask for.

With this update we plan on adding vest, belt and helmet customisation by way of a brand new drag and drop system. We are also going to be reworking the UI making it cleaner and smoother to operate.
Additionally, we have plans to also add drag and drop to the weapon customisation with no restrictions and UI rework.
While we have other things planned for update V10 we're not going to reveal everything at this time.
With V10 we already have 2 maps in active development. Some of the most detailed maps to date.
