Onward Players,

We're thrilled to see so many of you enjoying the new features introduced in version 2.0. Your positive comments and feedback are greatly appreciated, and we're delighted to welcome back previous players who have returned to the game.

Although the release didn't go entirely smoothly, we've been working hard to resolve the issues that arose. The introduction of graphically advanced features and updates in the Horizon OS caused some functionality problems for Quest 2 users. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we worked to try and fix these issues.

  • Black Screen when launching: We worked quickly to resolve this issue. If you continue to have this issue, clear your game cache and/or free up some storage space on your hardware.

  • Quest 2 issues with bringing up OS Menu: This issue required collaboration with the Meta Horizon team to try and resolve, and at this time we have done everything we can do on our end to resolve this, however, it may still be an issue for some players. We are continuing to work with that team to resolve the issue. Currently we recommend avoiding opening the OS menu during gameplay. If you want to take images or video while playing, you can use the controller shortcuts.

In response to your concerns related to an increase in accidental teamkilling, we've made adjustments to the operator models' lighting to help better distinguish between the two factions. A big thanks to those who worked with us and provided constructive feedback and references so we can improve their quality.
