addedOnline: 404 is our take on a non-trivial open-world survival experience. It’s a story-driven game that you can complete solo or in a team of up to four players, joining your friends. As usual, you can follow the story or explore the world in search of items that will help you survive. The abandoned district spans about 4 square kilometers. Within this area, you’ll find a town and many points of interest designed to make exploration engaging.
changedFor sure, the game includes base building, crafting, hunting, and even zombies (though it turns out they’re quite unusual), along with raids on your base. But the core gameplay feature of our game is your smartphone .
changedIn Online: 404, your character’s smartphone is the main survival tool. Want to learn how to craft an item? Search the in-game Internet, you might find something useful. Need to fix a car? Figure out which mushrooms are safe to eat? Learn how to butcher an animal after a hunt? All the information is available online. But it won’t be easy: the modern internet isn’t for the faint of heart. On your path to survival, you’ll have to navigate through tempting ads, annoying CAPTCHAs, and constant attempts of the network to grab your attention and distract you from your main goal - just like in the real Internet.
addedWe invite you to add the game to your Wishlist so you don’t miss the demo release, and we’ll do our best to share more updates with you as we approach the final stages of development.

Hi!
We’re a team of developers, and we’re very glad to see you here. Let’s get to know each other.
We’re a married couple with four cats, and for over a year now we’ve been spending all our free time working on Online: 404. Before that, we spent several thousand hours playing The Forest, Valheim, Rust, ARK, Raft, and Conan Exiles. Then we decided it was time to create something of our own.

But let’s get to the point.
We’re releasing a free demo in early June 2026, and you’ll be able to experience the doubtful solitude of the abandoned Leminsgale district. Then, at the end of July 2026, Online: 404 will launch in Early Access.
We invite you to add the game to your Wishlist so you don’t miss the demo release, and we’ll do our best to share more updates with you as we approach the final stages of development.
