One Way Mirror: AI changes
Good news, detectives — we’ve just finished implementing a major part of the game, and the AI now comes with a brand-new (and honestly pretty cool) personality system.
We’ve added 10 personality modifiers that can shape how suspects behave during conversations and interrogations:
Cooperative
Defensive
Nervous
Hostile
Arrogant
Emotional
Deceptive
Reserved
Procedural
Influenceable
Suspect personalities are built by combining these modifiers. There will be one dominant modifier, plus one or two secondary ones that define the overall personality.
For example:
A suspect with Deceptive + Reserved + Defensive might dodge direct questions, reveal very little, and only open up if you corner them with solid evidence.
A suspect with Emotional + Nervous + Influenceable might overshare under pressure, react strongly to certain topics, and be easier to steer — if you know how to handle them.
This is a big deal because interrogations now feel much more natural and believable — and you’ll need to adapt your approach to each personality type to get the most information possible and figure out who’s actually guilty.
On top of that, we’ve also implemented a skills system to help you manage interrogations with suspects of different personalities — but you’ll hear more about that in the next Case Update.
If you’d like to support the project (and make sure you don’t miss the next announcement), add One Way Mirror: AI to your wishlist — it genuinely helps a lot.
