One Way Mirror: AI changes
The final stretch before release is going really well. Over the past weeks we’ve been running a ton of tests — and that’s largely thanks to all the beta testers helping us put the game through its paces. Thank you so much — it really helps.
We’ve also just completed the full tutorial and first-time walkthrough, designed to help you get oriented from the very first launch — so you can understand the core mechanics quickly, jump into the investigation, and start uncovering the truth… and the culprits hiding in the shadows of lies.
Right now, our main focus is pushing the in-game AI even further. In particular, we’re working on:
Stronger character interpretation based on age, job, background, and personality
More role consistency depending on a character’s position inside the precinct
Better vocabulary and fluency across the supported languages
To support this, we’re exploring an option we think could be really useful: two different AI model downloads, so you can choose what fits your PC best — one focused on maximum quality for more powerful machines, and one focused on performance for lower-end setups.
If you’d like to support the project (and make sure you don’t miss the next announcement), please consider adding One Way Mirror: AI to your wishlist — it genuinely helps a lot.
We’ll share more as soon as we have new updates.
