This update brings a refined and enhanced gameplay experience, with new mechanics, improved feedback systems, and key bug fixes based on community reports. Here's what's new:

Added

  • A new self-heal option using D12, which restores up to 75% health at a slow but strategic rate.

  • Visual feedback when enemies take melee damage, improving combat clarity.

  • Visual feedback when Kain receives damage, enhancing player awareness.

  • Overheat feedback for the plasma weapon, alerting players when the weapon becomes unusable.

  • Additional visual cues and effects to improve immersion and responsiveness.

Adjusted

  • Volume and implementation of the spider cart sound, for a more balanced audio experience.

  • Platform movement speed, fine-tuned for smoother gameplay pacing.

  • SkullKniffe difficulty, rebalanced for a fairer challenge.

  • Dynamic loading and unloading of map areas, optimized to improve performance.

  • Particle rendering and visual elements in specific zones, resulting in better frame rates.

  • Visibility and draw distance, adjusted for a smoother visual experience.

  • Resource consumption, reduced by limiting simultaneous loading of actors and map elements.

Fixed

  • Plasma weapon overheat behavior, now correctly prevents firing until cooldown completes.

  • Lightning movement at the end of the mine, which previously failed to activate in some cases.

  • Collision issues with health items dropped by mines and miners, now functioning properly.

  • Drone shooting logic, now consistent and reliable.

  • Kain’s full combo, now applies damage across all hits.

  • Melee attacks from pistol-wielding miners, which previously failed to deal damage.

  • Lava zone error, now resolved for stable gameplay.

This patch is part of our ongoing effort to deliver a more polished and immersive experience. Thank you for your continued support and feedback.
