Hi there Governors!

I'm happy to announce we've developed a brand new v1.9.0 patch for you, which will be launched somewhere mid-August. We're addressing a bunch of player feedback from the past years (both from Community posts, reviews, as well as input through Discord).

You can expect:

  • Gameplay changes (toggle to disable optional goods, withered crops auto-removal, less false-positives of workers starving, farms directly adjacent to water, .... and some more!)

  • Quality-of-life features (trade route guidance, panel to show incoming haul jobs and to show what research you might want to consider, bulk-hiring of workers, auto-pier placement, .... and some nifty other things you might notice when playing!)

  • Bug fixes

  • Minor performance improvements

  • ... and hopefully another addictive session of playtime ;-)

If you're dying to try it out, well... don't die. You can try the beta-version right NOW! Right-click on the installed game in your Steam library and navigate to Properties, in the Betas section you can select the Beta branch to download the 1.9.0-beta version already.

You can submit feedback either on the Steam community or through our Discord server, so we can either take it along for the 1.9.0 still, or consider it for a future patch.

I hope you will enjoy the patch, stay tuned for the release next month!

Best,

Tom
