Set Rerolls

Rerolls give you a wider variety of captain options each game, FOREVER!

As we explore Galaxy in each new set, introducing new captains, characters, and game mechanics, everyone is sure to find favorites. Set Rerolls offer a new option to raise the likelihood you play with those cards you most enjoy!

Here’s how Set Rerolls work:

  • Each set has its own Reroll (Galaxy Reroll, Candylar Reroll, and Mythbound Reroll at launch)

  • Set Rerolls appear in captain select’s second slot.

  • Using a Set Reroll rolls the slot into a random captain from that set.

  • You may use each Set Reroll you own in every game. They appear in a random order – reroll until you settle on a captain or use them all!

Set Rerolls are a new buy-once keep-forever item in Galaxy’s store, available now for Galaxy’s first three sets! We’re offering a limited-time discount of $14.99 each to celebrate their launch, after which they will cost $19.99.

Whether you prefer playing with the original set’s captains, sweet mechanics, Boons, or something new in the future, Set Rerolls will help tailor your Galaxy experience!

Balance Changes

Nerfs

Young Hercules: Was a 5/5, is now a 2/2

Destiny: Was an Uncommon 2/2, is now a Rare 4/4

Young Hercules and Destiny have proven to be two of Mythbound’s strongest cards, even after having been nerfed already. This update restores their original stat-lines, while keeping Herc’s “complete a boon” effect and moving Destiny to Rare.

Maverick & Icewing: Quest is now Collect 3 Treasures (was Collect 2)

Jasmine Dragon: Now has Treasure Hoard 1 (was Treasure Hoard 2)

These Dragons and their treasures-matter abilities have always been consistently powerful. After a couple speed-bumps should bring them in line with other options at their rarities.

Buffs

Pirates and Toys are getting a tune-up, with a handful of buffs to help these tribes shine.

Despicable Smee: now has 3 health (was 2)

Jelly Roger: now has 10 health (was 7)

Davy Jones: now gives its slot +3/+3 (was +2/+2)

Pirate Prince: Now gives two treasures on Recruit (was one treasure).

Raggedy Ann: Now an Uncommon (was a Rare)

Chip on the Ship: now a 10/10 (was a 1/1), and gives its summoned Toys’ slots +10/+10.
