Gameplay camera improvements

We got some negative feedbacks on the in game camera, and we really didn't see them coming since during development and extensive playtesting no one actually reported it. We take feedbacks extremely seriously and so we worked hard to overhaul the in game camera and give our players a lot of customization options to better suit everyones' needs. In fact, we impleented a full new Camera menu!

The game now starts with better presets that should mitigate potential motion sickness problems.

❤️❤️Love everyone update❤️❤️

As promised on Valentine's Day, you can now romance and kiss all the four love interest in the game. You don't have to choose: you can kiss everyone!

Smooooooooooch!

Improved performances - engine update to Unity 6

In preparation for the Switch release, we did a ton of work on the under the hood to optimize the game. First of all, we updated the engine to Unity 6. This will help us down the line to optimize the game even further and to push visual fidelity higher. Aside from other massive optimizations, we're reworked our world streaming system to minimize performances problem while loading different areas of Borgo Marina: on Steam Deck you should get higher frame rates across the board and almost zero stuttering.

Improved translations and extra dialogues

We improved some sub par translations, specifically we completely reworked the

Chea's riddles

translations. We've also added some new dialogue lines to better explain some part of the story.

Gameplay tweaks and balancing

Lots of improvements big and small to make your stay in Borgo Marina even more pleasant: - More Jocker Cards during the investigations: you can get more cards, but also use more to solve the puzzles if you're stuck. - Increased the number of fishing zones and more money from fishing and harvesting ingredients. - Fishing tweaks to make the mini game easier. - Improved cooking: we've made the minigame easier and changed some difficult inputs - You can now quit some previously un-quittable mini games! - Mind Palace improvements: added icons to better show when an activity has been completed (stargazing, cooking, movie watcing etc...). - Added the ability to open the quest log in the map screen.

There are a lot more smaller tweaks that will improve your experience with the game.

It's now easier to get those pesky onions...

You can look at the quest log with the map open: how convenient!

New icons added to better keep track of your progress!

Added visual details and tweaks

We've added some small visual tweaks and detail to make your stay in Borgo Marina even more unforgettable: a rotating lighthouse beam during the night, to fully animated clocktower hands (bells are next!) to much improved water rendering...

Tick tock, tick tock!

More watery water and more wavy waves...

What's missing...

We still have to implement full key remapping. It's something we'll definitely do but it still requires a bit of work! Apologies for this, we'll keep you up to date.

🪳🪳Oh, almost forgot! We also fixed bugs! Lots of bugs!🪳🪳

We really hope you'll enjoy this update and that you'll all have an even better experience in Borgo Marina! We have more updates coming!

Thank you for your support! The Memorable Games Team
