ON ANY JOURNEY changes
Hey everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for all the love, support, and feedback you’ve been sending our way. ❤️ It truly means a lot to us, and it keeps the team motivated every day.
June has been a busy month for us. We’ve been fully focused on the full release of On Any Journey, and we’re excited to share a look at what we’ve been working on.
In the full game, there will be two main ways to play: Story Mode and Playground Mode.
Story Mode will feature 7 chapters, following the main adventure from beginning to end.
Playground Mode is where things get a lot more chaotic. We’ve combined a variety of gameplay mechanics with random prank events, creating unpredictable moments between players. Every round can play out differently, and that’s exactly what makes it fun.
More Ways to Mess With Your Friends!
If you joined our closed beta, you probably remember being able to kick your partner around. We had a lot of fun watching players use that in unexpected ways, so naturally… we decided to add even more ways for players to interact, prank, interrupt, and help each other.
Sometimes cooperation means working together.
Sometimes it means causing a little trouble first.
New Content in Progress!
We’re also continuing to build out new areas, add more details, and refine each zone so the world feels more alive, playful, and rewarding to explore.
Here’s a small WIP sneak peek at something we’re currently cooking up:
Refining the Controls and Game Feel
Beyond new content and features, we’ve been spending a lot of time polishing how the game actually feels to play.
That means tuning movement, input response, animations, VFX, sound feedback, and all the little micro-interactions that make a moment feel good. Our goal is for every jump, kick, and co-op move to feel smooth, responsive, and satisfying.
❓ Quick Q&A❓
Q: Will the game support couch co-op and online multiplayer?
A: Yes! You’ll be able to play together locally on the same screen, or online with friends.
Q: When can we play the full game?
A: We’re currently aiming for a Q4 release this year. We’ll share a final release date as soon as everything is locked in.
Q: Can we playtest the game early?
A: Yes! If you’d like to help us test the game, join our Discord server. Discord members will get priority access to future playtests and beta builds, and we’ll also be sharing extra behind-the-scenes updates there.

See you next month! ❤️
