OMSI 2: Steam Edition changes
Version 1.50 of the popular OMSI 2 tool AUXI Expansion is now available for download on Steam. Existing installations will be updated automatically.
In addition to numerous new features, the documentation has also been completely revised.
Version 1.50 brings one of the most extensive updates to AUXI Expansion to date.
At the heart of the update is a completely redesigned settings window, replacing the previous menu structure. Clearly organized categories, integrated descriptions, and improved input validation make configuring AUXI Expansion much more intuitive and easier to navigate.
The HUD functionality has also been significantly expanded. New features include a minimap showing the route and stops, a timetable HUD displaying previous, current, and upcoming stops along with scheduled arrival times and delay information, and a progress indicator for the current trip. These features are complemented by a significantly improved HUD layout system.
Another major focus is performance and stability.
The new AI Performance Scaler automatically adjusts the number of AI vehicles and pedestrians based on the current frame rate and memory usage.
Version 1.50 also adds numerous quality-of-life features to AUXI Expansion. New weather effects with dynamic lightning and matching thunder sounds, automatic climate control on the bus, additional camera options, new Discord status displays, and many other detailed improvements round off the update.
A complete overview of all changes can be found in the changelog below.
