Work on the OMSI add-on Berlin Line 186 is continuing steadily.
A new, extensive test version has been provided to the testing team and is now being thoroughly reviewed. The goal is to use the feedback to implement further optimizations and adjustments, bringing the add-on step by step closer to completion.
The current version already includes a number of visible improvements. For example, the Steglitzer Kreisel has now been added and is in a very advanced state of development, nearing completion.
In addition, this test version introduces timetables for the first time, as well as initial Chrono Events, which add even more variety and atmosphere compared to the previous version.
Work has also continued intensively on many small and large details. Improvements have already been made to announcements and AI traffic. Collision boxes have been corrected, and numerous smaller objects have been revised or newly added to create an even more authentic Berlin atmosphere along the route. These many refinements highlight the strong focus on delivering a cohesive and believable experience.
The OMSI Berlin Line 186 add-on is therefore moving steadily closer to completion. While we cannot yet provide an exact release date, the ongoing testing is pushing the project further toward the finish line step by step.
It is already confirmed that owners of OMSI Berlin X10 will be able to purchase the new Berlin Line 186 at a discounted price. Further details on how this will work will be shared soon. Please note that the Steam version of OMSI Berlin X10 will be required for this discounted option. However, there will also be a solution for users of the non-Steam version, which we will explain separately.
