Hey Everyone! As you may know now we have just officially released Omega Extinction on steam! Very exciting times for us! Due to the worldwide reach of steam however and the fact that we are a 2-person development team, there may be a case where if anything is going wrong we’ll be asleep or unavailable, so I thought I’d take the time to write some common fixes for problems and general info for you in case we’re unreachable. Q: I can’t login, it keeps failing to connect! A: Try opening the ports found here: https://doc.photonengine.com/en-us/realtime/current/reference/tcp-and-udp-port-numbers If that doesn’t work, try restarting steam or waiting 15 minutes before connecting again. If the problem persists, take a screenshot of the error message and email us at contact@twinvaultgames.com Q: My game is slow/laggy. A: First off, try checking the quality settings in the Options area, by default they will be set fairly high so try decreasing them. If that doesn’t help, ensure you’re connected to the region closest to you. Check the list below for city locations of servers: Asia- Singapore Australia- Melbourne Canada- Montreal Europe- Amsterdam India- Chennai Japan-Tokyo South America- Sao Paulo South Korea- Seoul USA, East- Washington USA, West- San José If there’s still an issue, try making a recording and sending it to us (as a youtube link(can be private) or similar) along with stats about your computer’s hardware to contact@twinvaultgames.com Q: I’ve found a bug, what do I do? A: Email it to us! Screenshots are very helpful as well as much info/description about the bug as possible, email it to contact@twinvaultgames.com Q: My Game crashed/keeps crashing A: This one can be tricky, look for a log file in your Steam\steamapps\common\Omega Extinction file path and send that through to us at contact@twinvaultgames.com with a description of what you were doing when the crash happened. A reinstall may be a solution if you’re stuck waiting for a reply. Q: I have an idea/suggestion for Omega Extinction A: We’re always open to ideas and suggestions, so feel free to email it to us at contact@twinvaultgames.com Q: Where is your social media pages/ Where can I find the latest updates?
