OMEA changes
Say Anything. The Story Remembers.
Odin's Trial, one complete adventure from the upcoming OMEA narrative gaming platform, is out now as a free demo.
You play by saying or typing what your character does, in your own words — and the story responds: fully voiced, scored with live music, and aware of every choice you make.
Odin's Trial
You are a Viking, washed up alone on a frozen island. Odin has given you one job: find the Beast and put it down. The island wants you dead first - and so do some of the people on it. You need shelter and a fire, or the cold takes you.
The story remembers
The heart of OMEA is memory. The people you meet remember what you said and what you did, and they act on it:
Nothing resets between scenes. Alliances hold, grudges harden, and the story builds toward a real ending shaped by everything you chose on the way.
Help a stranger in the first scene, and she may stand between you and a spear an hour later.
Break a promise early, and it can come back on you long after you've forgotten it.
OMEA runs on Narrative Intelligence - our proprietary model trained on more than 150,000 novels and built for story structure, pacing, and character. Characters stay consistent for hours, consequences don't evaporate, and every playthrough reaches a real conclusion.
Plans fall apart. That's the fun part.
When an action could go either way, a dice roll decides it - so even a good plan can fall apart on a frozen ledge.
Not everything on the island can be talked down: in a fight you say what you do, whether that's swinging an axe or fleeing, and a skill check decides how it lands.
What you carry matters too — a coil of rope or a blade off a body can be the weapon you finally raise against the Beast.
The demo runs on the same technology as the full platform.
Step onto the island
The demo is free - download it and tell us how your story ended. No two playthroughs are the same, and we genuinely want to hear yours.
