Oiran Survival: Edo Yokai Rush changes
I’ve released a major update for the Oiran Survival demo.
This update focuses on making the game easier to understand, easier to read, and easier to stay immersed in.
1. The opening now explains her revenge more clearly
The heroine’s emotional shift is easier to follow through more expressive Live2D facial animation and lip sync. Her reason for revenge is now clearer, and the dragon power scene is no longer just a passive movie. You can now progress that story scene at your own pace.

2. The UI now matches the world more clearly
The entire UI has been redesigned to better fit the game’s dark fantasy world. Important information is easier to read at a glance, so it’s easier to stay focused on the game instead of fighting the interface.

3. Gameplay now gives players more camera control
You can now switch between auto and manual camera modes during gameplay. This gives you more freedom to adjust the view depending on the situation.

4. Combat is now clearer, creepier, and easier to read
The heroine and enemies are easier to distinguish during battle. Enemy motion has been adjusted to feel more unsettling, while combat readability has been improved without losing the game’s dark atmosphere.
This is still not the final version, but the demo now feels much closer to the experience I want to deliver.
