Major Demo Update 4.0 + Season of Pride 2024!

We’re delighted to announce Of Sense and Soul is part of the Season of Pride 2024 Steam Sale! 🥳🏳️‍🌈✨🏳️‍⚧️

Work behind the scenes has been ongoing, as you can see from our monthly Kickstarter Backer Bulletins, and you can actually see some of the newer game contents in the latest teaser trailer uploaded to the game's page.

Of course, Of Sense and Soul isn’t for sale just yet, but I have the next best thing for you: a new major demo update to tide you all over!

Extended Demo Version 4.0: The Camera Update

After over a year of continued development, it’s come time to put that experience to use on earlier scripted contents: as a result, the Extended Demo has been given a cinematic makeover!

If this is your first reintroduction to OSAS in some time, you can expect more refined camerawork, additional scene direction, smoother transitions and improved dialogue pacing.

You’ll also be hearing more voice acting! Introduction lines have been added for almost all the background characters, and five new voiced scenes have been added to the demo. Enjoy even more of Seamus and James’ friendly rapport and a splash of Hugo and Camilla’s fond bantering!

• Overhaul to camerawork and dialogue pacing in demo contents.

• Hugo’s Bedroom Background has been added

• Minor adjustments to Sprite Assets

Voice Acting ✨

• Introductory voice lines added for most new character appearances

• Extra voiced scenes added to H1, S1, S2, and S4.

Story ✨

• Minor grammar and dialogue line edits (Such as dropping the period after honourifics, the proper English way…)

Misc. ✨

• Updated links on About page credits

• Updated demo ending screen

The Extended Demo remains largely feature-complete and no major updates are planned but the following future changes are in the works for an undetermined release date, further down the line as production continues:
