addedHey! Quick heads-up about the new leveling system on existing saves (progress bar reset).Everything's fine, no XP was taken away — what you're seeing is just a visual update to the new calculation system that kicks in once you hit the old/new XP threshold. Your progress is safe.

changedHey! Quick heads-up about the new leveling system on existing saves (progress bar reset). In 1.07 we adjusted the XP gain system, which previously reset to zero on level-up — effectively creating a soft cap around level 20 (yeah, that was never the plan).
addedHey! Quick heads-up about the new leveling system on existing saves (progress bar reset).XP now carries over as you gain new levels, but for readability we still display it starting from 0 relative to the previous threshold. So if you needed 19,000 XP to level up, had 13,790, and then gained 710 more — once you hit the leveling table threshold, that exact amount stays intact, but the bar resets to the new values without losing any progress (0 out of 4,500, still 19,000 total).
addedHey! Quick heads-up about the new leveling system on existing saves (progress bar reset). This is purely visual — after leveling up you'll already be on the new display system.

This is purely visual — after leveling up you'll already be on the new display system.
Just a reminder: based on the new leveling table, you gain 2 attribute points every level and 1 skill point every two levels.
P.S. Going forward, we'll do a better job of spelling this stuff out in the patch notes. Promise.
