One of the key things I want to improve is the number and flow of encounters. I'm watching how players react, including checking out gameplay videos on YouTube and Twitch reuploads—those are amazing resources that show natural reactions and pacing.
changedFor the full release:I’ll be working on hitting that sweet spot with the amount of combat—not too much, not too little. One of the takeaways from Early Access is that more fights should be optional, so we’ll be adjusting enemy movement to allow players to sneak past them if they want. That way, both those who enjoy combat and those who want to grind can play their way.
addedFor the full release:The idea behind EA was to not overwhelm players with too much at once, especially with the new systems we introduced. But for the full version, you can expect more abilities for characters and more strategic options.

I also agree with you all that more skill variety in battles would be great—that’s definitely in the plans.
