New In-Run Progression System

Battle rewards still grant gold, consumables, and ability upgrades, but runs now also feature a new in-run Experience system.

Experience can now be earned through combats and events, with certain encounters offering even greater rewards depending on your choices and discoveries.

As you progress, you’ll be able to:

  • Customize your dice by adding/removing faces or increasing face values

  • Collect powerful relics that now play a much bigger role in shaping your build and strategy

Every run should now offer more meaningful choices, stronger build variety, and more reasons to explore risky paths and events.

Other additions and improvements

  • New random events added

  • New Elite enemies and combat variations

  • Many combat parameters and balance elements tweaked

  • New defensive abilities and relics added, alongside numerous tweaks and reworks to existing ones

  • New D10 and D12 dice added

  • Spanish and Italian localization added

  • Improved controller and Steam Deck support

  • Many bug fixes and overall improvements

Please note: due to the large progression and system changes introduced in this update, save files from the previous demo version are unfortunately no longer compatible.

This demo still does not represent the final balance or difficulty of the game. We’re continuing to iterate heavily on systems, progression, events, and combat flow.

And it’s not over yet: your feedback is helping shape Odds Chronicles every step of the way.
