changedSo, why did this update take so long?At first, I just planned to rework the main features, like Bots menu, main menu, and In-game system. But turns out, my old code was pretty messy. Every time I changed one thing, something else would break. Seriously, it was chaos.

So, why did this update take so long?

At first, I just planned to rework the main features, like Bots menu, main menu, and In-game system. But turns out, my old code was pretty messy. Every time I changed one thing, something else would break. Seriously, it was chaos.

So yeah, I ended up redoing everything from scratch. Honestly, it felt like I was building the whole game all over again.

Alright, let’s jump into the actual progress for this major update:

Done

  • Refactored almost all the code.

  • Optimized code and assets in the game.

  • Redesign the UI/UX and sprites (especially the layout and coloring).

  • Overhauled the main system:

    • Save/load logic.

    • Database.

    • Loading system.

    • Code and asset performance.

  • Rebuilt Bots menu (for each class):

    • Profile.

    • Talent.

    • Weapon.

    • Equipment.

    • Various skills.

  • Rebuilt main menu:

    • Inventory.

    • Shop.

    • Lab.

    • Setting.

    • Cloud save.

    • Stage selection.

    • Stage preparation.

  • Rebuilt in-game UI.

  • Rebuilt in-game camera.

  • Rebuilt in-game animation system.

  • Overhauled Bots movement and control.

To do

  • Polish the in-game camera system.

  • Redesign all stages in all game modes.

  • Create codes and assets for all Bot skills.

  • Improve the visual effects of all Bot skills.

  • Create enemies asset, skills, and AI.

  • Rebuild task menu.

  • Rebuild player profile (including achievement and badges).

  • Rebuild extra menu (gift code, cross-platform cloud save, etc.).

Still cooking!

Right now, I’d say the update’s about 55% complete. Some big stuff’s already done, but there’s still a bit to wrap up before it’s ready to drop.
