changedPark your raft and sit back, we've got some roadmap details for you!As we noted early on, Oceaneers already has a full story, plenty of content and a good level of polish. We've released a few patches to improve systems and QoL, which will continue, but more of our focus will shift towards content updates.
changedPark your raft and sit back, we've got some roadmap details for you!The roadmap is subject to changes, we're not afraid to scrap features that just aren't working, and try weird things on our path to finding what is the most fun for gameplay. A large part of this is based on your feedback which has been amazing so far, so please keep it coming! That said, we do have a pretty clear path forward with what we want the game to be.
addedPark your raft and sit back, we've got some roadmap details for you!The items in the roadmap are in no particular order, some things will take longer than others, but let us know what you're most interested in. The roadmap also isn't extensive, we have plenty of QoL updates planned as well, including new hotkeys, UI scaling options, and other little things we have mentioned on the forums.
addedBeveragesThe first thing we are planning is new content for drinks and the beverage system, as we feel there is a bit of a gap and too much reliance on coconuts, especially when you want to take drinks to expeditions.
fixedNew Game ModeThis is a big ticket item, long-term we expect that this will be the main mode that players get replayability out of. It won't have a fixed storyline, but will use random events and have things to discover during exploration for story aspects. We have some neat ideas for this one, stay tuned!
addedNew Game ModeThe current story mode will naturally get improvements and new content as well (tech, buildings and items), some features and items will be exclusive to the new game mode though as they wouldn't make sense in the story mode.
