changedOcean Explorer was originally inspired by the classic game Uncharted Waters II. However, during development, I saw the release of several excellent games with similar goals. To make Ocean Explorer stand out, I’ve chosen to refine its core strength—exploring the world map by ship.

changedThat’s all for now. It may take some time, but I’m committed to creating an experience that will delight those who love travel and world maps. Thank you for your continued support.

Let me get straight to the point without any long introduction: I’ve decided to shift the direction of Ocean Explorer in order to make it a more unique experience. As a result, the release date is currently undecided.

Ocean Explorer was originally inspired by the classic game Uncharted Waters II. However, during development, I saw the release of several excellent games with similar goals. To make Ocean Explorer stand out, I’ve chosen to refine its core strength—exploring the world map by ship.

What will not change is the central concept: traveling the world by sea.

Here is our updated direction: I aim to make the game easier to understand by giving players a clear purpose.

  • You play as the captain of a cruise ship, entrusted by a travel agency to journey around the world.

  • As your reputation grows and your ship is upgraded, you’ll unlock new destinations and increase your profits.

  • Trade and monster encounters will be scaled back or reworked to better fit the new vision.

That’s all for now. It may take some time, but I’m committed to creating an experience that will delight those who love travel and world maps. Thank you for your continued support.
