Monthly Round-up: May 2026

Whew, hello my beautiful raccoon friends! We’ve all made it through May, which I would consider a massive success! What a beautiful, bananas month. I’ll be up front and say that this month’s update is very small, on account of everyone being crazy busy. Just for myself, I spent all month doing research, writing my magister thesis, catching a cold, and doing some international travel to attend a wedding. A really cool and fun time! But OBSCURA did get put on the back burner this month for me because of that.

So, what can we share about the merry month of May? Tobi is once again the raccoon of the month, as she was able to get a ton of good work done before the back half of May swallowed her whole with a major personal obligation. Cirrus’ script skeleton is looking extremely good, and while I’m not about to make any definitive predictions it does look like she’ll be entering the fleshy stage of development at a good pace. She’ll definitely be getting there before me!

As for a script preview, this little section gave me a good chuckle. Cirrus at higher affection is very different from lower affection in a way I find very funny.

And now we’re in June, my favourite month of the year, so hopefully I’ll be able to wrangle more time to work on Obscura! Have a glad midsommar, a happy pride, and we’ll be back again to talk next month!
