Hi! Been a while, but this is finally ready. This is the "definitive" patch for OASIS: Tokyo. Everything that is feasible for me to fix (and I'm aware of) has been fixed. Thank you to those that reported these.

fixedHi! Been a while, but this is finally ready. This is the "definitive" patch for OASIS: Tokyo. Everything that is feasible for me to fix (and I'm aware of) has been fixed. Thank you to those that reported these. I've also implemented a few ideas from the currently-in-development OASIS II - whose Steam page just went live!
addedAdditionsAdded a Grenade Case to the clothing shop (available at level 2), it is 2x2 with a 3x3 inventory and only holds grenades. It's also available rarely as loose loot in the Jigane warehouses (where grenades can be found) as well as in the Kibinna and SattoTrans warehouses (where more special containers can be found)
addedAdditionsAdded notification subtitles for the TTS announcers in Gauntlet and the facility
addedAdditionsAdded a little jingle when the subway arrives for the 2nd+ time in the subway escape mission of Oasis hunt (just thought it'd be a nice detail to add)
addedImprovementsReworked the little secret puzzle, no longer requires the intro scene, though it still requires a bit of rng, just not the "waiting for something to happen" kind Hint: There's a new article found in the facility, and also the code wasn't changed anyway
fixedBugfixesFixed AI running away sometimes going to the wrong side of the cover they're trying to use

OASIS II If you liked Tokyo, you'll probably like it as well! Please wishlist it!

As for the changelog:

Additions

  • Added a Grenade Case to the clothing shop (available at level 2), it is 2x2 with a 3x3 inventory and only holds grenades. It's also available rarely as loose loot in the Jigane warehouses (where grenades can be found) as well as in the Kibinna and SattoTrans warehouses (where more special containers can be found)

  • Added notification subtitles for the TTS announcers in Gauntlet and the facility

  • Added a little jingle when the subway arrives for the 2nd+ time in the subway escape mission of Oasis hunt (just thought it'd be a nice detail to add)

Improvements

  • In Elimination objectives, once there are less than 3 enemies left they will begin to move towards the player

  • Drink prices now scale based on its remaining uses

  • Minor adjustment to hardcore playmode description (tried to make it more clear)

  • Reworked the little secret puzzle, no longer requires the intro scene, though it still requires a bit of rng, just not the "waiting for something to happen" kind

    • HintThere's a new article found in the facility, and also the code wasn't changed anyway

Bugfixes

  • Fixed AI running away sometimes going to the wrong side of the cover they're trying to use

  • Can no longer gain max rank-related achievements from extra modes (sorry)

  • Request system now properly removes valid recursive items

  • Fixed mission amount-limited effects (namely skillwire chips, don't think anything else uses this at a value higher than 1) not saving their current mission count

As always, please let me know what you think in the discord! Thank you for your support!
