addedHi all, your friendly dev, back from the d... Well not exactly, but finally out of a quite long sickness. And at the end of another project, The Buoy, to promote small indie dev and which should be finally live soon after encountering many roadblocks (career changes, health issue, moving to our new place).
changed(2) and the most important aside the health issues, is that I was unhappy with Nyaf classic, even if I quite love it, and didn't want Nyaf 3D to only be a 3D version of it. So I spent a lot of time on: software experimentations (some of it in preview on Twitter), figuring out what to do about the music (and that will involve some AI parodic musics initially, even if I am not a fan but I couldn't afford the same result yet otherwise). Non parodic musics will still be by human artist and will still be fantastic. Hopefully the game get some traction at a point and we can also replace the AI songs. I would also organise some "find the source" from these last so we can see what original musics and songs were copied and properly reference them. but mostly about what to do with it (which is also why the music was important), so that the game is more engaging and funky, while still being super friendly for everyone. One goal of Nyaf is that everyone can play with it and that there is no stress whatsoever. It's maybe not so much of a game (compared to a metroidvania for instance) but it allows to relax. I think the current version reached this goal rather well, but was also a bit boring and not so funky as the music and the graphic might suggest.
addedAnd I want to go back to that once the Buoy is up and running. It will probably take a while still, especially Nyaf 3D as it will basically be bigger than the original Nyaf (as a free update when it comes :O) ) but it should come, if my health finally let me do so. So wish me some luck and I hope I come back here rather soon with some new content and functionnalities for you :)

And there is a lot pending for Nyaf...
To be honest, the late update is also a result of
(1) me being fully burned out at the time, and trying too much at the same time:
pad support fully configurable and fully home made on top of the confusing Unity one, I should have bought an external solution, and might,
translation in Chinese, Korean, Romanian and French (which will definitively come),
and Nyaf 3D.
