changedChanges:(Blessings - UI) Blessings with effects that depend on some value will now show that value under their icon. Currently affected Blessings: White Flame, Symmetry, Ethereal Arm.
changedChanges:(Blessings - UI) Blessings that depend on the current amount of HP will now tell you the amount needed in their description. Currently affected Blessings: Diamond Coating, Glass Cannon.
changedChanges:(Card) Seek Weakness cost reduced to 1-0. It now also has Advance 2, and combo value changed to 2.
changedChanges:(Card) Monarch's Bone works with burning on top of discarding. Additionally, dealt damage increased to 300.

I apologize for the delay after the last update, but I had a very busy month, and only last week I managed to come back to developing.

With this update I bring 3 new Achievements, linked to defeating the alternative version of bosses currently in the game (note that these are not retroactive, you will need to defeat them once even if you have already).

I'm also adding the BGM for the Tower boss, which takes the game to have all the tracks for the current content.

The game is getting closer to its 1.0 release. I will soon make an announcement to officially list what my plans are, but briefly what I still have to do are:

  • The alternative versions of Tower and Sky bosses, with relative Achievements.

  • A final, optional 5th level, that will have the last boss (and secret last boss) from the demo.

  • Additional smaller things.

With these, I will release the game into 1.0. There will be more smaller stuff added after that, but I think that in general the game is pretty juicy.

Changes:

  • Cosmetic(BlessingsUI) Blessings with effects that depend on some value will now show that value under their icon. Currently affected Blessings: White Flame, Symmetry, Ethereal Arm.

  • (UI) The Blessings Archive will now separate Blessings by their pools (innate, normal, great, boss, flame).

  • (General) Cards are now discarded only after any drawing effect is applied (to avoid some cases when cards could draw themselves, which could also result in bugs).

Bug Fixes:

  • A recent change made it so the game would lock when restarting a run after losing. Fixed.

  • Fixed a crash that could happen when killing an enemy with a specific combination of statuses.

  • Fixed some cases where a drawn card would leave an empty hole in the deck instead.

  • Fixed character being duplicated when starting a new run.

  • Fixed some effects or cards (like Tainted Apple) erasing all player's statuses.

  • Fixed Black Flame not working properly on cards that cost zero because of First Draw or Free marks.

  • Fixed Virus card not being removed by Goosebumps Blessing.

  • Reaction type statuses would react to Blue or Yellow Flame damage when hit with an attack with Tracking. Fixed by slowing down Tracking attacks when you have either of those blessings.

  • Added text for Exhaust card to specify you need Overheat to use it (it was coded in the card but the card wasn't stating it).

  • Fixed some instances where a card could remain semi transparent when in hand.

  • Fixed a softlock that could happen when winning a fight while doing some specific combinations of actions.

  • Fixed Boomerang Effect being put in the draw pile when discarding it using effects of other cards.

  • The text "Can't have more than 10 cards" could loop when multiple drawing effects happened in succession. There is now a delay before the text can
