Women’s Day Sale Steam Post⭐

We’re so excited to announce that Nothing Strange Here is participating in the Women’s Day Sale! As part of this Steam celebration, we at Dandelion wanted to highlight one of our team members, Emma!

Emma is our Narrative Designer of Nothing Strange Here and co-founder of Dandelion Developers. If you ever have read a lore post here on Steam or played our demo, you for sure have seen some of her work. All the game’s narrative elements are created by her, from character arcs and story beats, to world building and environmental storytelling.

However, in a small team, you can never just have one role… She’s also the Scrum Master, holding daily standups and is partly responsible for the backlog, a 2D artist, drawing character concept art and 2D images, and an environmental artist. On top of that, she also assists with 3D and marketing if needed.

It feels like the importance of diversity in teams has grown a lot lately, with more events promoting games and teams that are led by women or other gender-marginalized people. This is a trend we hope will continue to grow, since everyone’s view is extremely important to get new perspectives on things and be able to create games that are fun for everyone!
