changedThis post will detail some questions about Nother. Q: The game doesn't start when I launch it. A: You need to install directx to launch Nother. After your first attempt to launch Nother, navigate to this folder: Then run DXSETUP. If this folder is not on your PC after you have attempted to run Nother, then you need to allow Nother.exe through whatever firewall you have that's stopping it from putting those files in your documents folder. After running DXSETUP, Nother will run! Q: How do I get [x] gamepad to work? A: The game was built specifically with the Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers in mind. If this is not the gamepad you have or use, then contact me in the community discord(linked below) and we can talk about how to get it implemented. Q: Is there an options window? A: Press the escape key to access the options window. There are a few gameplay options, controls configuration for keyboard users, sound options, and this is also where you can quit the game. Q: I have low FPS, but I meet the system requirements. A: This is a rare issue. You'll either need to update your graphics card drivers or disable any on-board intel integrated graphics card you might have. If you still can't manage to figure out the source of your FPS issue, contact me in the community discord and we'll see what we can do. Q: How long is Nother? A: Nother is expected to take between 8-10 hours for you to complete the main "game". Keep in mind, however, that Nother is an open world game with many objectives that are not necessary to complete the game. Because there is no overt direction telling you where to go, the amount of time it takes you to explore and discover the secrets the world has to offer can vary greatly. I will update this thread as more relevant issues come up. Thanks for your time and enjoy the game. https://discord.gg/0xfXZntpDnYYUxa9
