Repeated intro
Hello everyone, The Desktop Decor Workshop is now officially live. In this update, you can enjoy even more freedom when customizing your desktop and room space, while the music player now also supports custom albums. On top of that, we have added more scene and desktop decor content, along with a range of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes to make the overall experience smoother and more stable.

Improvements
Improved reminder messaging when uploading images to the Workshop
Random headwear and random outfit settings now support custom time intervals
Improved fish sorting stability in the fish basket interface
Improved fish sorting logic so fish of the same species stay grouped together when sorting by quality
Added a confirmation step when selling fish with purple-tier weight or quality and above
Adjusted the minimum record time for Huarong Road on Easy difficulty to 3 seconds
Added item count display at the bottom of the market interface for clearer inventory viewing
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Workshop-uploaded images could appear blurry after being placed in a scene
Fixed an issue where Workshop decor layers could not be adjusted
Fixed an issue where some decor-related time displays were inaccurate
Fixed an issue where using a gamepad keyboard would not switch expressions to the typing expression
Fixed an issue where typing expressions could incorrectly change back to normal expressions after switching expression pages
Fixed an issue where saved white noise combinations would not play correctly after closing and reopening the white noise interface
Fixed an issue where house lighting effects could still be seen after hiding the house in the desktop decor editing interface
Fixed an issue where subscribed Workshop items would not display correctly in-game when the number of subscribed items became too large
Fixed an issue where chat bubbles were not displayed in the lobby chat
Steam Workshop Is Now Open
The Steam Workshop for No Slack Pets: Lo-Fi Paws is now open. You can now visit the Steam Workshop page to browse, subscribe to, and use player-created content, or upload your own creations to share with other players. At the moment, the supported Workshop content type is: Room Decorations Click here to visit the Workshop page You can also access it in-game:
Open the House Edit screen to browse Workshop content
Go to Menu > Decorations > Workshop to upload your own item Steam post image
Please note the following when uploading items:
Your resource folder must include both the item image and the preview image
The preview image filename must be preview.png or preview.jpg
Only JPG and PNG image formats are supported
After subscribing to a Workshop item, the in-game list may not refresh immediately. Please wait a moment and check again shortly after.
Workshop FAQ
Q: How do I edit a Workshop item I already uploaded?
A: After the first upload, a file named published_file_id.txt will be generated in the resource folder. After that, you only need to replace the corresponding files in the same folder and upload again.
Q: Why doesn’t a subscribed item appear in the game immediately?
A: There may be a short delay before subscribed Workshop content refreshes in-game. Please wait a little and check again.
Q: Why can’t other players in the lobby see the Workshop item I’m using?
A: Other players also need to subscribe to the same Workshop item in order to see it correctly in-game.
