The Nordhold Beta just got a major update: Version 1.0.6 is now live and ready for testing! This is a big step forward for the game – new content, balance tweaks, bug fixes, performance improvements – and we need YOU to help us test it.

The beta gives you early access to features that aren’t in the main game yet. It’s an experimental space – so expect the unexpected, and please share your feedback! Your insights will help us make Nordhold even better.

📋 Beta Patch Notes 1.0.6:

New / Changes

• NEW Mortar Banner: Crescendo has been replaced

• 7 NEW Relics added

• Arcane Rift (Uni, War Tree, Spell Damage+) now increases spell damage multiplicatively

Major Fixes

• Improved leaderboard visibility, especially for first-time players

• Fixed bugs in leaderboard entries (overwriting results, etc.)

• Further optimized Endless Spell Scaling to reduce excessive values

• Fixed issues with saving tower upgrade prices

Adjustments

• Marks of Ascension (Rare Relic) removed from loot pool for the first 9 waves

Improvements

• Volcano Mortar VFX optimized, resulting in noticeable performance improvements

• General performance improvements

• Fixed color coding of the Runeforge icon (yellow when all 4 upgrades are completed)

• Camera movement speed is now adjustable separately for mouse and keyboard/WASD controls in settings

• Fixed auto-banish for Tempest-Stopper (Tornado Banner)

• Fixed some Fusion/Unique Banner exploits

• Fixed issues with self-healing enemy HP in waves 80+

• Relic overlay now correctly displays underneath the eye symbol

• Shift-click now toggles Trading Post stack size between min and max

• ESC key now works for additional use cases (e.g., opening settings in title screen)

• Various minor bug fixes
