As the year is progressing, we are back with an update about our love project! The start of the year was especially eventful for us, as we moved to a new flat. This took up most of January. But now that everything is in order, we are back to developing Noodle Party in our free time!
First mini game is ready
Since the last post, we've finished our first mini game, created a common UI structure for all the future ones, and finalized all the related systems! We are really happy how everything turned out, especially the UI. We think it's really good to look at. Simple yet informative.
Navigation in menu improved
We made some adjustments to our menu system based on feedback. As you may know, we decided to do a rather unconventional menu system that is in 3D space. While it's much more interesting than a conventional 2D system, this may not be as straight forward for some. We feel that the improvements definitely helped in this regard.
Gems -> Special items
In the coming months, we are targeting to finish the "special item systems". ( Formerly known as gems. ) These are items that one can gather during the Tower Challenge mode. Later to be used in one's turn to help if there is a tough situation.
Also, we are working on other mini games and adding more questions to the quiz pool! We will be back with an another update soon!
