First of all, thank you for all the valuable feedback on the game. It has been extremely useful and instrumental in improving it.
Here are the patch notes for this first update:
Additions:
Expanded teleportation system. You can now freely teleport to multiple Sun Children placed throughout the world to reduce excessive backtracking.
New Arcana system: collect cards hidden within the walls of Ytash to learn more about its culture.
Improved map with a custom marker system and new visual enhancements, including drawings and decorations.
New progression system tied to the Sun Child, providing boosts based on Fire Presence progression.
Added new shortcuts throughout the levels.
New explosive barrels added to certain areas, allowing you to burn and stun enemies.
Improved Brand system, now granting bonus perks linked to torch ignition.
New cutscene during demo conclusion.
Minor improvements:
Reworked double jump camera. Movement is now smoother and no longer causes excessive shaking.
New types of torches.
Reworked Dash ability, improving responsiveness and providing clearer invincibility frame momentum.
While not available in the demo, as it is a later upgrade, the Sun Child now indicates that a Parry mechanic exists in the game.
Improved clarity for several narrative texts.
Boss improvements based on your feedback.
Added lighting effects to the UI.
Reduced cooldown on daggers and the Sun Slash ability.
Reworked controller vibration to make it smoother.
Various bug fixes. (controller layout, rebinding options etc.)
