Yes, that magical moment of the year when even Mariah Carey awakens, and so does our motel!

Motel 86 is now fully decorated for the holidays: new interactable objects, unsettling garlands, and a festive atmosphere that might be hiding something beneath the tinsel.

🎄 Festive Features

• The motel has been dressed in all sorts of eerily festive decorations.

• You can now switch between Christmas Mode and the default look whenever you want, customizing your stay as you prefer.

🧩 Gameplay

• A brand new mini-puzzle has been added, offering extra context and lore about one of our beloved (and enigmatic) characters. Perfect for the story diggers.

• We’ve added two new achievements: seasonal, mysterious, and totally worth unlocking.

• Additional environmental items have been added throughout the motel to enrich the atmosphere: festive, immersive, and just a tiny bit unsettling (please don’t touch the radio…).

• Certain puzzles now include better integrated clues, more connected to the story and environment, enhancing narrative flow and player intuition

🧪 Refined Demo

The demo has been streamlined to be more direct, removing misleading hints and focusing on helping new players quickly understand what the game is truly about without unnecessary frustration.

🌍 New Languages

We’ve added full support for the Basque language! Ongi etorri Motel 86ra.

🚀 Performance & Stability

• Vertical sync is now disabled by default to avoid input lag. You can still enable it manually in the settings if you experience screen tearing.

• Performance improvements across several areas.

• Enhanced stability for a smoother stay.

• Various minor bug fixes and quality-of-life adjustments.
