No Recollection has Released!

If you’ve played the demo, you can skip straight to day 2 by clicking the “Extra” button on the menu and choosing “Chapters.” This will unfortunately spoil how many chapters the game has if you care about that, as they will all be available. However, achievements have been added to day 1 if you’re an achievement hunter (not that this game will contribute towards your global achievement counter) so that may be an incentive to play again or skip through to find them all. The demo has also been delisted from Steam, given that its existence is pointless now.

The swimsuit DLC I mentioned in the previous announcement has also been released. It is $1.99, and if you'd like, you can show support for the game by purchasing it. Although, I would recommend not using it if you decide to buy it, since it’ll ruin the game. But if you're not really liking the game, maybe the swimsuits will make it more enjoyable.

It feels crazy to me that I was able to finish this project. It’s almost been 3 years since I began writing the story, which granted, it shouldn’t have taken this long, but I was really bad at motivating myself to work on it. And now, almost a year after completing the story and starting the actual game’s development, it’s fully finalized. I know it has some issues, but I’m happy with how it turned out. And I’m happy with myself for accomplishing this goal. Hopefully this will be the start of my creative journey!

It may not be the craziest or most unique story ever written – nor is the game very high budget looking aesthetically - but I still think it’s a worthwhile read. I may make another VN someday in the future – I would like to, and I have a few ideas – but for now, I think I should take a break. For now, I don't think I want to put myself through the process of writing another novel. I have some other things I want to try creating.
