changedIn between Boss phases Bonuses:In order to give a sense of progression and additional help for anyone who got stuck in a boss, we’ve decided to implement a bonus reward between every Boss phase. These rewards are: Health regeneration: You now regenerate your hp based on your performance just like in a regular stage. Carrots: The player now receives a determined amount for clearing a phase of a boss. This allows the players to keep focusing on fighting the boss while still being able to afford other options on the shop.

Stage Difficulty changes

Evil Moe:

His life and dodge-heavy movement style was frustrating so we’ve decided to tone it down a bit. Health Decreased his Total Health by 20% on all forms Movement Pattern Increased the time window between his teleports and his “taunting” state. Damage Output Lowered the damage of most of his attacks.

Ice Troll:

His damage was hitting a little bit too hard and newer players were having a tough time dealing with him. Damage Output Lowered all of his attacks by 20%.

Stage 1-4 PorkPike

Decreased the level difficulty slightly. [ reduced damage received by 20% ]

Stage 3-2 Hana Boom

Decreased the level difficulty slightly. [ reduced damage received by 10% ]

Stage 3-5 Bell

Decreased the level difficulty slightly. [ reduced damage received by 10% ]

Weapon Changes:

Red Glossy Shuriken:

Reduced max stackable damage, but its still able to one shot many enemies. It was kinda ridiculous even for our standards haha.

All Kunai Projectiles:

Increased base damage by +2.

Big Fan Sword:

Increased base damage by +2.

All Caltrops:

Increased base damage by +2.

Ice Stone Special

Bug fixes and small tweaks.

Additional changes

[bug fixing]Player Stats Tracking: Fixed a bug where the game would track an online player’s stats and affect the local player’s other character statistics.

Multiplayer Online Map flow

Changes to the map navigation flow. Players that are not in their turn no longer get stuck after selecting a stage. Now they have to wait for the other player to pick a stage and then press a ‘ready to play’ button.

Optimization Changes

Small performance fixes, Nintendo Switch experience enhanced.

VisualI Improvements

World map ocean now has waves.

Keyboard Mapping Update

We’ve added some new bindings in order to help left handed players or those who rather play using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

You can now dash using the Following Buttons

  • Left or Right Control

  • Left or Right Shift

  • Left or Right Alt

  • Numpad 0

  • Space bar

You can also access the shop in the World Map using the:

  • Backspace Key

  • Delete Key

  • Esc

Perks to address difficulty.

Easy Mode Shield 1

Information

Doesn’t appear on Endless Mode! Disables S rank

Item presets

Description Having a tough time? Use me! Lowers difficulty by reducing damage taken by half, but also makes you unable to get S-Rank Medals. Effect Reduces Incoming damage by 50%. Can be stacked with Easy Mode Shield 2.

Available on shop after completing

Stage 1-6 Porkpike Price: 450 carrots.

Helping Hand+

Type

Artifact / Perk Description: For truly altruistic souls! Recovers 2 Life points to the other player for every 3 enemies defeated by you.

Effect

Recovers 2 Life points to the other player for every 3 enemies defeated by you.

Available on shop after completing

Stage 2-6 Boss Icetroll Price: 1000 carrots.

Helping Hand++

Type

Artifact / Perk Description: A portable ambulance… for your allies! Recovers 2 Life points to the other player for every 2 enemies defeated by you.

Effect

Recovers 2 Life points to the other player for every 2 enemies defeated by you.

Stage 3-6 Boss Summoner Price: 1700 carrots.

Extra Battery

Type

Artifact / Perk Description: You know, the great things in life are meant to be shared! Recovers 10 stamina points to the other player for every 2 enemies defeated by you.

Effect

Recovers 10 stamina points to the other player for every 2 enemies defeated by you.

Stage 2-4 A “trial by Ice and Fire” Price: 550 carrots.

Extra Battery+

Type

Artifact / Perk Description: Because everyone needs a sparring partner! Recovers 10 stamina points to the other player for every enemy defeated by you.

Recovers 10 stamina points to the other player for every 2 enemies defeated by you.

Stage 4-3 A “Moejr final Plan part1” Price: 1500 carrots.

Bug Fixes:

Portuguese Localization fixes:

Bugs related to end game cutscenes are now fixed.

Bouncing off screen enemy movement improved.

Enemies and formation that has this movement pattern now bounce reliably off Barrier walls.
