NINE ROUNDS RAPID changes
The wait is over! Our latest playtest is officially live and open to the public right now. We’ve been heads-down under the hood, and we are incredibly excited for you to jump in and experience some of the biggest changes to the game yet.
Here is what you’ll be testing out starting today:
Weapon Customization & The New Inventory
The headline feature of this build is our brand-new Weapon Customization System. You are no longer locked into your weapon's base stats. As you explore the map, you’ll find various attachments - everything from optics to barrels - scattered throughout the world.
To support this, we’ve completely overhauled the Inventory Screen from the ground up. You can now modify your loadout on the fly, dragging and dropping attachments to adapt to whatever threat is around the corner.
The Shopkeeper’s Sabbatical
You might notice a missing face when you jump in: we’ve temporarily closed the in-game Shop. We’re currently rebalancing the economy and working on a broader trading system behind the scenes. Don't be surprised if the Shopkeeper makes a surprise cameo later in the playtest once we’ve gathered some initial data, but for now, you’ll be relying entirely on your scavenging skills.
Smarter Foes and Better Flow
It’s not just about the gear; the entire world has received an upgrade:
Smarter AI: Our enemies have received a significant brain boost, making combat encounters feel more dynamic, tactical, and unpredictable.
- Streamlined OnboardingIf you’re bringing friends along who are completely new to the game, our reworked instructional flow ensures they can get through the basics and into the action faster than ever.
Steam Deck & Optimization: We want this build to be our smoothest yet. We’ve done a massive sweep of quality-of-life fixes and heavy optimization, meaning the game is running beautifully on PC and is fully playable on the Steam Deck.
Invite your friends & Win a Full Game Key!
The station is scary when you’re by yourself! Even though we haven’t got co-op in this build, you can still invite your friends to the playtest.
Even better: if you take the time to help us out by completing our post-playtest feedback form, you'll be automatically entered into a giveaway for a chance to win a full game key when we officially launch. You can find it in the pause menu in-game, or in our Discord server!
