Dedicated Server Release Now Live
Realmwalkers, our new Dedicated Servers are now live. To get started, download this update and create a new character or download one of your online characters to play. You can choose to play solo, join, or host a Friend.
Your online characters will continue to be hosted by Inflexion and will be available to download for up to a year. For more information about this update, please check out our last blog post here.
Release Highlights
Dedicated Servers - Use our new Dedicated Servers to host or join a friend! We have also partnered with GPortal for paid hosting.
Start Menu - The start menu has been re-organized to make it easier to create a new character and then choose how you want to play
Online Character Download - You can now download your online characters to be used offline directly from the Start Menu.
Admin Panel - You can enable some of the debug tools and cheats our team finds helpful if you want to experiment with Nightingale. You can find more information about how to do this on our FAQs page here: https://playnightingale.com/faqs
Monikers! - You can now earn titles for your Realmwalkers that are displayed under your username. Find the Moniker that represents who you are in Nightingale—from the classic Realmwalker and the accomplished Network Weaver to the whimsical Chuckaboo and the chaotic Rapscallion.
Nightingale Dedicated Servers – Powered by GPORTAL
Our upcoming Dedicated Server release gives you the flexibility to play Nightingale how you want, whether you prefer to host your own Realm or play with friends.
To make this possible, we’ve partnered with GPORTAL to provide easy-to-use servers around the globe. With GPORTAL, setting up and managing your own server is quick and seamless so you can focus on exploring, building, and surviving in the Fae wilds.

Gameplay
Item Rewards: Players now automatically receive the Cleansing Card when its requirements are met
- Fishing & StoreFishing mini-games have been adjusted and issues in the Porter Pistol shop purchase have been fixed
- Weapon EffectsThe Ultimate Sickle weapon’s bleed damage has been reworked for clarity
Updated outfits and appearances of several NPCs
Building swapping - In placement mode, added the ability to swap targeted structures with the new structure, with resources being refunded and/or dropped to ground. Tileset pieces and hanging lights/decorations can be swapped out with tileset pieces of the same type (eg. doorframe and a doorframe, but not a doorframe and a wall). Freestanding structures can be swapped if their size matches.

UI & UX
Connect Screen: The Continue button on the host/connect screen now only activates when an address is entered
A Previous/Next host button has been added for easier navigation.
- Moniker SupportA new Moniker tab in the player Inventory lets you set custom name titles, and those monikers now show on player nameplates
Profile Picker: You can now create more then 4 characters in profile creation
Travel UI: Clicking the opposite arrows on the travel map will now cycle travel direction, and the travel HUD groups “Accept”/“Decline” actions together for clarity
Ultimate charms now use tier coloration
Fix for BodyTypes in character creation
Social Features
Parties: Parties are now based on who is on a server.
Players now see on-screen notifications when someone joins or leaves their party
- Party VotingA new Party Voting system lets group members vote on quick travel destinations.
Friend Join: Steam friends can now join your game when you host (via Steam relay)
- Travel InvitesNew safeguards automatically deny a travel invite if the host is still on the Continue Journey screen
Removed non-functional respite permissions
Performance and Stability
Addressed a GPU crash that was occurring on some systems.

New spatial audio for Provisioners Borough, the Docks, the Portal Transcept Spire in The Watch
New audio for The Watch Pale Suppression Quest
Bug Fixes
- Quests & RewardsCorrected a quest description (“A Gate to the Void”) and fixed a bug where a reward room’s teacup item was missing
- EnvironmentResolved several minor world glitches (e.g. blocked holes in city districts). Players can no longer get stuck in a hidden room due to level geometry issues
Other Fixes: The portal activation button in the Vaults area now works correctly, and various UI tooltip and text issues have been cleaned up (such as leftover “XP/Masterwork” labels)
- AudioFixed an echo-related audio bug in one quest area (Sunken Hope cathedral)
Fix for collectible busts that weren’t previously collectible
Fixed missing teacup from reward set
Fixed characters falling if attacked while swimming
Fixed zone control VFX not happening in multiplayer
Fixed magic realm card buff to correctly apply damage bonus

Family lineage will now persist
Memory puzzles being solved concurrently will no longer interfere with each other
Rescue NPCs who get stuck can now return to navigable terrain
Fixed portal activation not working in Boss champers and Vaults
