Nightingale changes
Our server maintenance has concluded and our servers are now back online.
Please update your game to ensure you can access Online Mode once again. The below items will not apply to the Offline Mode until you update the game.
It's recommended to restart Steam/Epic or verify your game files to make sure you're on the latest version. The game version shows in the main menu when you start the game.

Greetings, Realmwalkers!
As the amber glow of autumn skies fade, the chilling breath of winter creeps through the Faewilds. Yet, before the icy grasp takes hold, the Realms promise one final offering of the season.
Arriving today, Nightingale’s Autumn Update brings a number of new features for intrepid Realmwalkers to explore.
To celebrate the update, Nightingale will also be 40% off on Steam! There's never been a better time to jump into the Realms.

This new update also draws to a close the Halloween Event. But no need to fear about missing out on any of the event items. They’ve been added to the Progression Tree.

Boss Rush
You’ll be able to find the new Boss Rush challenge in The Watch. Here, you’ll be able to fight an endless series of bosses, which will each have a random Minor Realm Card effect applied. Every boss you defeat increases the difficulty of the next.
Your reward for facing this gauntlet are new Tier 5 and Tier 6 Infusions, as well as a whole swathe of new fabled resources. Do you have what it takes to survive?
New Weapons
Swords
Swords are now available in Nightingale! You can progress through the entire game with a new sword for each tier.
Primary attack is a three-part combo including two slashes and a thrust.
Secondary skill is a parry/riposte, allowing the player to parry an attack, and then complete a very powerful riposte lunge attack.
Bow Magic Arrows The Autumn Update introduces three new types of magic arrows for the bows!
Entangle Arrows: Arrows that entangle enemy legs with brambles to slow their advance. (Careful there are diminishing returns!)
Implosion Arrows: Arrows that carry a delayed detonation to your enemy.
Slicing Arrows: A dual arrow volley connected by a magical garrote that slices enemies.
Launcher
The last new weapon in the Autumn Update is a new alternative for the slingbow: the Launcher!
The launcher is a multiple projectile weapon, capable of being loaded with many explosive marbles at once.
This allows the player to quickly single fire with the primary fire, or use the secondary fire to crank up a large volley of marbles at once.
FSR Frame Generation
AMD's FSR3 Frame Generation has been added as a new option to increase framerate. This feature allows your graphics card to generate additional frames through interpolation, which should significantly improve framerate; however some users may notice some input latency and subtle visual artifacts. FSR Frame Generation should be available on most hardware, and and can also be used in conjunction with any of the upscalers (TSR, FSR, DLSS, or XeSS). Because the underlying Frame Generation systems from AMD and Nvidia can't be enabled at the same time, users who have access to DLSS Frame Generation won't see the option to enable FSR Frame Generation. If you have an Nvidia 4000 series card and would like to try running with FSR Frame Generation, you can force DLSS Frame Generation to turn off by adding this in the Launch Options in Steam's settings for Nightingale: -slnoswapchainprovider.

Gameplay Changes
Hitting 0 ‘Hunger’ will no longer kill you
Hitting 25% ‘Hunger’ will still reduce your maximum health, and that effect will worsen the closer you get to 0
Resting no longer removes your timed buffs, including food buffs
‘Exposed’ and ‘Grit’ traits have been removed
Oberon’s Bounty works on damaged nodes
Fishing stats affect fish catch rate
Skinning a creature on uneven terrain no longer results in SFX spam
Bound Mortar and Snipers no longer ignore ‘Stealth’ rating
Sun Giant will finish his attacks when he sometimes would not previously
Events and Content
The Halloween Event is over but the reward items have been added to the Progression Tree
Plank and ramp structures have been added to the Progression Tree
Puck should spawn more reliably during quests
Inventory and Crafting
Major Cards are sorted ahead of Minor Cards in the inventory
Using more than 9 types of fuel at the same time will no longer disrupt the station fuel display
Repair cost should be displayed correctly in the inventory when players have 0 essence
Fix for ‘Back’ option on any crafting bench closes the bench menu, instead of returning to the previous tab
Fix for logging out and then returning to the game when an item is in the crafting queue will cause the timer to display a negative number
Fix for offhand item is not hidden when reloading the revolver
Various fixes for materials on clothing not properly changing with crafting
Structure and environmental fixes
Upon placing any Bhutan pillar on Bhutan T-support Pillar, the one above will no longer levitate in the air and appear empty inside
AI and NPC Behavior
Recruited survivors may repeatedly jump over the stairs several times in a row, damaging themselves with every jump
Survivors can no longer be hit by characters' knife attacks
General known issues:
Hanging augments functionality does not work on the right side of certain windows
Speeding through dialogue results in text stuttering with single letter
Hollowed Moor - Danu's interaction area is very limited and covers only her legs
All Minor Cards remove ‘Gloom’ effect
Deep Fae Wilds, Tavern, Forge, Greenhouse and Quarry Minor Cards not behaving as expected
Oberon's Bounty is not giving bonus yield to some resources despite indicating it in the spell's description
Applying enchantment to tool moves it to a different hotbar slot
Fired arrows do not hit where player aims in 3P
Special life bar of Azazel the Penitent might not be displayed after being downed and going back to them
Remapping the interact key makes it so the prompt no longer displays a key
Crafting station's traits slots may become empty upon player's return to the Realm
Crude Portal might become unavailable when moving the blueprint near structures
Stairs can't be placed upwards off floors
Chests ended up in a bad persisted state when moving long distances
Toggling the HUD on and off will permanently hide a boss health bar
Climbing Picks have less range when in third-person camera mode
Boss Rush Known Issues
Puck will appear the first time you collect a Synchronous Lotus when he shouldn’t
Pressing “Return to Crossways” on the map will get your character stuck, quit and reload into that character via the main menu to continue
