NextBuild changes
This game isn’t about selecting parts from a menu and hitting "build." Building a car – even a virtual one – is far from simple. It’s complex, messy, and incredibly satisfying. You have to hunt down rare parts, fine-tune your suspension, adjust your air-fuel ratios, dial in boost levels, and make sure everything works together like a real machine would.
That’s the heart of this project: to recreate the real experience of building a car from the ground up. Not just the visuals, but the entire process – engine assembly, part fitting, and tuning for performance.
In this Tech Demo, you can experience the early foundation of what I’m creating. It features:
🔧 Front-end car assembly
🛠️ Engine building process
💥 Basic damage system
🏁 And most importantly – driving!
There’s also a test map included where you can take your car out for a spin, feel how it handles, and get a taste of the physics and mechanics I’ve been working on.
This is just the beginning, but it means a lot to me to finally share something playable. I hope you enjoy testing it out as much as I’ve enjoyed building it.
Thanks so much for your support – it truly keeps this project going. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts. patreon.com/NextBuild
