Game-Breaking API Issue 🐞(Fixing with Update 1.5)

Hey Everyone, An API endpoint that Newcomer relies on for intermediate mode has gone down permanently (RIP Gemini 1.5 flash). This means that conversation in Intermediate mode will not work.

fixedI'm choosing not to release a hotfix since I'm almost done with Update 1.5. Instead, I am going to leave the game in a broken state for a few weeks while I finish the update.

An API endpoint that Newcomer relies on for intermediate mode has gone down permanently (RIP Gemini 1.5 flash).

This means that conversation in Intermediate mode will not work. However, beginner mode should mostly work since the dialogue is hardcoded. There may be a few instances later on in the Beginner mode game where this API is needed and it would break the game.

I'm choosing not to release a hotfix since I'm almost done with Update 1.5. Instead, I am going to leave the game in a broken state for a few weeks while I finish the update.
