Return to the Protector's Jubilee!

The denizens of Neverwinter are celebrating 13 years of not being razed to the ground by rampaging orcs, torched by marauding dragons, or devoured by hungry demons! It’s time for the Protector’s Jubilee!

The Protector’s Jubilee will begin on Friday, June 19 at 7:30 am PT The Protector’s Jubilee will end on Friday, June 26 at 7:30 am PT

The Protector’s Jubilee is Neverwinter’s big anniversary event, when the city is decked in bunting and confetti floats on the breeze. At the same time, performers juggle and breathe fire on the city streets. The doors to the richly decorated Protector's Garden will open to all visitors during the event, but after the festivities, only those who have redeemed a Garden Key may enter.

Anniversary Events

During the anniversary, adventurers can partake in various events:

Daily Tasks – Elminster requests your help in getting Protector’s Enclave ready for the Anniversary celebrations! Each day of the event, Elminster will have a new quest, from placing decorations to rousing the celebratory spirit among the locals. Miss a day? Don’t worry, Elminster will have work for you – the quests can be picked up at any time during the event, but will be gone once the anniversary is over.

Elminster’s Messages – As part of Elminster Aumar’s visit to Protector’s Enclave, he is seeking the help of adventurers to deliver grim tidings to the Harper agents scattered across the Sword Coast. Players will travel to various zones to accomplish missions, speaking to Harpers in the field. Players will have a chance to receive two random quests based on their level. Completing the quest will grant you Protector’s Figurines that can be used to redeem Jubilee items in the event store.

Protector’s Speech Skirmish – Lord Neverember has taken this time of celebration to address the people of the city. Still, unsavory elements want to do anything they can to disrupt the speech. It is up to you to help prevent these creatures from disrupting this joyous occasion.

The Protector’s Speech is a scaling skirmish event that takes place in Protector’s Enclave. Each run, three randomized encounters will attack different parts of the city, and adventurers will have to defend the city and defeat the creatures. Defeat the hordes and you will be rewarded with many items, including Neverwinter Renown. Players will be scaled to 40k item level for this event.

Escort missions – With Lord Neverember seeking new business opportunities, traders and merchants from across the Sword Coast are making their way to Neverwinter! Affordable goods and a boost to the coffers are vital, so players must ensure that merchants reach Neverwinter unmolested. Protect the Foreign Merchant in Ebon Downs and the Whispering Caverns and earn Protector’s Bounty!

Guilds will also find traveling merchants coming to their Stronghold, who must be escorted safely through the surrounding lands. Guilds will have access to a series of temporary traders that can visit the Stronghold for 24 hours, providing valuable guild currencies for small contributions of wood, stone, metal, and food. There’s never been a better time to join a guild and help them grow!

Updates for 2026:

• The Foreign Merchant's respawn time in the Whispering Caverns has been slightly increased.

• The maximum obtainable Protector's Bounty for the Foreign Merchant in the Whispering Caverns is now 5.

• There is no longer a difference between opening Protector's Bounty while being part of a Guild or not; the ‘guild-only rewards’ have been removed. We are looking into bringing these rewards back later, possibly during different events.

Protector’s Bounty and the Jubilant Celebrations Track

Taking part in the event earns players the Protector’s Bounty — packs of items including Protector’s Figurines, Renown, and more. Players can also share gifts with one another by raising a toast to Neverember’s generosity in the form of the Protector’s Hospitality. The more of each item players use, the better the rewards become. Players can earn temporary discounts in other stores, novelty items, and much more, all free while the event is running. Protector’s Figurines and Renown can be used to purchase a variety of rewards!

The Jubilant Celebrations Track relies on acquiring Jubilee Gems. Every Lockbox opening (most recent Lockbox) during the Jubilee grants these Jubilee Gems, which can be used to earn valuable rewards. You can unlock keys, enchanting stones, upgrade tokens, and more.

*The Companion chest is similar to the reward gained upon opening 50 Lockboxes. You have a chance to get a random Companion up to Mythic quality, or the current Lockbox’Sir Waddlelot

Mount: The Ebon Herald (Legendary)

Obtainable through the ‘A Grand Anniversary Celebration’ Mission.

Behold the Ebon Herald, a being of regal bearing and feathers dark as the midnight sky. Though its presence may strike fear into the hearts of the unworthy, know that this noble creature is, in truth, a guardian of wisdom and gentleness. It raises its claws only in defense, never in malice. Yet, should folly or aggression provoke its wrath, the Ebon Herald calls forth the very essence of decay, and its foes shall wither like autumn leaves before the first frost.

Equip Power: Divine Decree

Grants 2% Movement Speed, 1500 Power and 1800 Combined Rating.

Combat Power: Dark Call

The Ebon Herald calls forth necrotic energies from below to wither away your foes, rooting lesser enemies in place with a damage over time magnitude of 234 for and weakening other enemies by 4.7% for 10 seconds.

Umbral Illusions

Umbral Head and Trail illusions can be selected from the Umbral Illusion Choice Pack, obtainable through the Jubilant Celebrations Track. Umbral Footsteps are available in the Jubilee Store.

Smoke rises where a head once rested, smoke lingers with every step, smoke trails behind you... Our latest Umbral Illusions are smoking hot and come in multiple colors. Will you go for purple, indigo or verdant?

Companion: Verdant Elder (Epic)

Obtainable through the Jubilee Store.

The Verdant Elder is an ancient treant whose roots pulse with primal life energy. He strikes foes with crushing branches while channeling the restorative power of nature to mend his allies’ wounds. His curiosity with you has spurred him to come along on your adventures.

Active Powers

• Enhancement – Gives an additional bonus to Combined Rating.

• Forest Warden – Deal up to 25% more damage as remaining health decreases. Every 10 seconds, heal for 5% of missing health.

• Forest's Blessing – The forest's blessing heals you and nearby allies

• Slam – Lifting his arms high in the air, Verdant Elder slams his targets with all his might.

Enhancement Power: Master of Craft

Equip: Chance on hit to increase your Forte for 15 seconds with a maximum of 9%.

Offense Power: Winds of Nature

Equip: Gain 1.9% Power, 375 Combined Rating, and a 50% chance when using a Daily to heal 12.5% of your maximum hit points.

Throne of the Verdant

Obtainable through the Thrones section of the Jubilee Store.

A living seat grown rather than built, the Throne of the Verdant hums with quiet, ancient life. Roots coil in silent vigilance while soft light pulses through its bark, as if Silvanus himself watches and judges those who dare to sit upon it.

Fashion: The Raven Queen's Watchers

Obtainable through the Renown Fashion section of the Jubilee Store.

A raven’s skull mask etched with ancient runes crowns this attire, its veil denying mortal sight as the wearer sees through the unseen eyes of ravens circling the world. Draped in dark layers of weathered leather, adorned with carved tokens and black feathers, it marks its bearer as a silent watcher burdened with knowledge of death, fate, and winter. Simple in form yet heavy with purpose, each step echoes along forgotten paths, guided by an unseen will across the long road between shadow and destiny.
