Doing this will let you freely swap between the English and Japanese text for the game. For new players, the game should automatically detect your region when first starting, but I haven't really been able to test that feature.

You read that right!

NeverHome - Hall of Apathy is now fully playable in Japanese! Every line of dialogue, every menu option, EVERYTHING! It's a super exciting update that can introduce the game to so many new players!!

For those of you who've already begun playing the game, you'll need to navigate to the "Options" menu on the title screen and toggle the "language" setting. Doing this will let you freely swap between the English and Japanese text for the game. For new players, the game should automatically detect your region when first starting, but I haven't really been able to test that feature.

Along with this big change, there's also been a few minor alterations to the Hall of Apathy. I won't go into each little detail, but it's something like this:

  • More sound/visual effects for things that used to look a little plain

  • Some updated sound effects for things that sounded a little off

  • Adjusted the volume of certain songs

  • Fixed some bugs regarding save data and persistent save data

I hope everyone enjoys this new update and continues to enjoy NeverHome!
